When we started SumZero, we had one rule: do the work the way you'd want it done in your own house.
That means showing up on time, doing the job right, and standing behind it — not because you'll take us to court, but because that's who we are.
PROTECT+ is us putting that in writing. If a covered component fails after the manufacturer's window closes, you call us. We come out. We fix it. You don't pay for the labor. No claims process, no third-party runaround.

What's Included
Three layers of coverage — all active
From the day we finished your installation, you have three things working in your favor.
Manufacturer Warranty
Your equipment is registered in your name. Parts covered by the manufacturer — typically 5 to 12 years depending on the system.
Workmanship Guarantee
If anything is wrong with how we installed your system, we come back and fix it. Your job is documented and on file.
PROTECT+ Labor Coverage
When a covered component needs repair after the manufacturer warranty, we cover the labor. You call, we come out, you pay nothing.

Every system we install. Clearly defined.
PROTECT+ covers the systems below. Almost everything carries 10-year coverage — the only exceptions are tank water heaters (electric or gas) and indoor air quality equipment, which carry 5-year coverage.

We come out
A SumZero technician diagnoses the issue. If it's a covered component, we handle the repair.
Labor is covered
You pay nothing for the service labor on covered repairs. The coverage period is shown on your plan documentation.
Coverage transfers
If you sell the home, PROTECT+ transfers to the new owner. Let us know and we update the record.
